Precise reproducible tests are used to find out where the communication between body and brain is disrupted. The analysis shows disrupted patterns of tension in the spine, pelvis, skull and extremities which influence the nervous system.
Predominantly there is one primary problem, for which several areas in the body compensate. For each primary 'blockage' or "chiropractic subluxation" there is a specific motion restriction, change of reflexes, muscle strength, the presence of a tender spot and a compensatory posture. A clear distinction is made between the primary problem and the compensations.
Because life is constantly in motion and the brain is constantly looking for homeostasis, we constantly create new compensations. Problems are therefore typically layered. These layers appear one after the other and generally require multiple treatments to achieve balance.
The NIP system uses safe and painless corrections that restore neurological balance.
